We are excited to announce that we have earned our Great Place to Work® Certification™. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Smooth Fusion. 100% of our employees said it’s a great place to work – compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.

"Great Place to Work Certification™ isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that Smooth Fusion is one of the best companies to work for in the country.

”We are excited to become a Great Place to Work-Certified™ as we consider culture a top priority every day,” said CEO Todd Knowlton.

Dylan Echols, Smooth Fusion's VP of Customer Success said that "caring for our team overflows into the way we serve our customers.  A team that is proud to work at Smooth Fusion and stays with the company means we can continue to build long-term relationships with our clients and provide them with excellent service day-to-day - which has been a big driver to our success over the years."

Our Employees are Owners

In 2022 we established an ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), which grants company stock to employees.  This has made Smooth Fusion an even better place to work and has enhanced the motivation for our team to make the process of custom web development as painless for our customers as possible.

In the last year, Smooth Fusion has also hired more remote employees than ever before. Although a remote team can have its challenges, it has allowed us to hire top development talent from across the country.

A challenge many companies face with remote team members is establishing a good culture. At Smooth Fusion, we strive to make culture initiatives inclusive to all employees, whether they live in Lubbock or in other regions of the US.

“Smooth Fusion does a good job creating opportunities for employees to connect, whether that is in our monthly company lunches, where all employees are treated to lunch, or our in-person events, where our entire team gets together a few times a year for a fun time hanging out,” says Jake Picken, Smooth Fusion’s Director of Marketing.
