When I look back on the last 25 years of Smooth Fusion, what stands out most isn’t any single technology or milestone. It’s the consistency in how the work has been done. Strong relationships. Thoughtful collaboration. A shared commitment to doing things the right way.
Smooth Fusion was founded on a simple belief: technology should help people do their best work, and strong relationships are the foundation of anything worth building. That belief has guided every stage of our growth, even as the digital landscape has changed in ways none of us could have predicted.
Over the years, I’ve watched the work evolve dramatically. We’ve moved through multiple generations of platforms and tools. When we started, there was no iPhone, no WordPress, no Sitefinity, no Facebook. We adapted to new expectations, new challenges, and new ways of working. Through all of that change, I’ve learned that the most important decisions are rarely about technology alone. They’re about trust. They’re about listening. And they’re about choosing to do the work the right way, even when it takes more time or effort.
What I’m most proud of after 25 years is the culture that has grown alongside the company. Smooth Fusion has always attracted people who care deeply about their craft and about one another. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals who take real ownership of their work, who ask thoughtful questions, and who hold themselves to a high standard not because they have to, but because they want to.
To our team members, past and present, thank you. You are the heart of this company. Your curiosity, integrity, and pride in the work are what make Smooth Fusion what it is. I’ve seen you tackle complex challenges, support one another through change, and consistently deliver work you believe in. That kind of commitment doesn’t happen by accident, and I don’t take it for granted.
To our clients, thank you for the trust you place in us. Many of our relationships span years, and in some cases decades. You’ve invited us into important conversations and asked us to help solve meaningful problems. That trust carries real responsibility, and it’s something I think about often. Your challenges have shaped our thinking and pushed us to grow in ways that have made us better partners and a better company.
To our partners and collaborators, thank you for walking alongside us. The best digital work is rarely done alone. The relationships we’ve built over the years have expanded our perspective and strengthened our ability to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Smooth Fusion journey so far. I’m grateful for the last 25 years and excited for what we’ll continue building together.
Here’s to 25 years, and to what comes next.
